About Megan

February 4th, 2009

Megan grew up in Fresno, CA and Louisville, KY (where her dad was transferred as a member of GE’s management team). In the early ’80’s Megan headed back west (stopping first for a stint in Lake Tahoe where she worked for Harrah’s) and on to Los Angeles. She remained in LA for twelve years, working first as a bank teller and then progressing to branch banking management.

In 1990, Megan moved to the San Francisco bay area and went to work at the Larkspur branch of Bank of the West, located just north of the City in Marin County. Ten years later, wanting to be near aging parents, Megan returned to the south, relocating to and buying a circa 1900 Victorian cottage in Nashville’s highly touted and eclectic East Nashville area where she shares her home with her Nashville-native partner and their 3 dachshunds and cat.

Megan says: “As the owner of my own home, as well as the owner of investment property, I know what it is like to be a prospective home buyer or seller in today’s market.”

Megan brings over 20 years of experience in financial services to every interaction. Since 2004, she has worked as a real estate agent with Village Real Estate Services in Nashville, TN. She is proud of the fact that her entire working career has been in direct customer service: working one-on-one with clients to help broaden their understanding of the details and issues and then to move forward with a solid decision.

“I’ve worked in customer service for 2 simple reasons: I love it, and I am really good at it. The best compliment I have received from my clients over the years has been, after a particular daunting transaction, ‘that was really easy.’ It is my job to not only take care of your buying or selling needs, but to make the process seamless and stress-free for you (and your family).”

Megan is smart and energetic. Armed with her Blackberry, laptop and a whole lot of energy, she’ll listen to your needs, wants and concerns regarding buying or selling your home. Her perspective is unique and welcome, as both an insider and an outsider to Nashville’s neighborhoods.
