We’ve all heard the dire comments about the state of real estate today, how it is a buyer’s market but no one can get a loan, prices are dropping, and there is a lot of inventory (homes for sale) out there. There are a lot of homes for sale, but there are also a lot of buyers who can get loans at historically low interest rates. So now more than ever, you need a professional to assist you in marketing and selling your home.

The old adage is that there are only 3 considerations in whether or not your home will sell; price, location and condition. But there is a huge 4th consideration; marketing. If the perfect buyer for your house doesn’t know it is available, or can’t get in to see it, they won’t have the opportunity to make an offer and come to closing.

While there is not much anyone can change about the location of your home, the condition and pricing are completely within our control.

Selling your home is not just a matter of sticking a sign in the ground and putting the listing into the multiple listing service for our area. Call me and we can discuss all the facets of successfully marketing your home. Because if I don’t find a ready, willing and able buyer for your house, I don’t get paid. And while I love what I do, it is also how I make my living. So I am happy when everybody sits down at the closing table and walks away feeling well-served.
